X thread splitter
Split long text and check weighted post counts.

Turn a long draft into a sequence of X posts. BFOTKit uses the twitter-text parser to estimate weighted character counts, numbers posts when enabled, and keeps your draft in the browser.

How to format a table

  1. Paste cells from a spreadsheet or choose a CSV, TSV, TXT, or XLSX file.
  2. Check the delimiter and whether the first row contains headings.
  3. Preview, copy the Markdown, and paste it into a Reddit post in Markdown mode.

Quoted CSV fields and embedded line breaks are supported. The preview shows up to 30 data rows.

Format LinkedIn posts, Reddit tables, and X threads

BFOTKit’s social media formatter helps prepare posts for LinkedIn, Reddit, and X (Twitter) in one browser-based workspace. For LinkedIn, paste a draft, review paragraph spacing, review the opening and character count. For Reddit, convert spreadsheet cells to Markdown tables; for X, split long text into numbered posts with weighted counts. Draft text remains in your browser.

Post the result on Reddit or Quora

Copy the generated Markdown and paste it into a Reddit editor that accepts Markdown tables. Community settings and editor modes can differ, so preview the post before publishing. Quora’s editor may not render pasted GitHub Flavored Markdown as a table; its support depends on the current editor. The Markdown output is portable for documentation and other GFM-compatible destinations, but always check how the destination renders tables.

Split a long post into an X (Twitter) thread

The X thread splitter uses the official twitter-text parser to estimate weighted post length. Recognized links count as 23 characters, and Unicode characters use X’s weighting rules. Enable numbering to add a sequence such as 1/4 to each post. The standard limit is 280; account features and platform changes can alter what you can publish, so review the draft in X.

Prepare a LinkedIn post with readable spacing

The LinkedIn tab preserves ordinary line breaks and shows a character count against LinkedIn’s documented 3,000-character post limit. It previews the opening 140 characters as an editing aid; the actual “see more” cutoff varies across devices and post types. No hidden filler characters are inserted.

Keep spreadsheet columns readable

When the first row contains labels, keep the header option enabled. The formatter uses those values as the table heading and adds the Markdown separator row beneath them. If the first row is data, turn the option off; BFOTKit will create generic Column 1, Column 2, and similar headings so no row is lost. Blank rows are skipped, and shorter rows receive empty cells to keep the table rectangular.

Protect pipes and line breaks

Markdown uses the vertical bar to separate columns. A bar inside a value can shift the rest of a row, so the formatter escapes literal pipes before writing each cell. Newlines inside a cell become <br> tags, preserving a readable line break within the same table cell. CSV parsing respects quoted commas, quotes, and embedded line breaks. The live preview is built as text in the page, not interpreted as HTML from the input.

Use copied cells, CSV, or Excel

For a quick table, copy a range in Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet and paste it in the input area; spreadsheet clipboard data is usually tab-separated. For a file, choose CSV, TSV, TXT, or XLSX. XLSX import reads the first worksheet and its displayed cell values; formulas are not recalculated, and workbook styling is not carried into Markdown. CSV is read as text, so values such as 00123 stay intact.

Local processing and practical limits

The selected file and pasted text are processed in the browser. BFOTKit does not upload your table contents. Page analytics may record general page and button interactions, but the tool does not send cell values or file contents. Very large tables can be difficult to edit or render in social posts, so consider splitting long datasets and keep the original spreadsheet as your source copy.
